GloriaFood closes on 30 April 2027. Here is an honest UK alternative.

Oracle is retiring GloriaFood on 30 April 2027. After that date, ordering buttons, links and the order-taking app that point at GloriaFood stop working. Chefzi is a separate UK product: your own ordering site, a kitchen app that rings, and 0% commission. We are not GloriaFood and not Oracle.

Key dates from Oracle

Oracle's end-of-life FAQ (v1.0, March 2026, re-checked 20 October 2026) sets out three things every GloriaFood user should plan around:

1. 30 April 2027 is final. All GloriaFood products, including the free tier, end on that date, and Oracle says extensions are not possible.
2. Paid add-ons may end first. Renewals follow your normal term (30 days for online ordering services) and are only accepted until one month before the end-of-life date. Oracle's own example: renew a 30-day service on 3 March 2027 and it ends on 3 April 2027.
3. You get 30 days to retrieve data after your services expire or are cancelled.

What GloriaFood charges for

GloriaFood's core ordering is free. Its pricing page (checked 20 October 2026) lists optional paid services in US dollars, excluding taxes: online card payments at US$29 a month and advanced promo marketing at US$19 a month, among others. Oracle's FAQ says the sales-optimised website, branded app, POS and Oracle Payment can no longer be added. If you pay for add-ons, check the renewal date of each one, because that's when it ends. What Chefzi doesn't replace

We'd rather you know before the call. GloriaFood lists reservation deposits. Chefzi takes table reservations and does not take a card deposit on a booking. The steps to move the bookings are in replace GloriaFood table reservations. Email campaigns are sent by the restaurant. SMS, branded SMS and flyers are on the SMS marketing page. GloriaFood promotions, coupon codes and Autopilot emails are a separate move: replace GloriaFood promotions and Autopilot emails. Chefzi has no till or POS, kiosk, branded app-store app, loyalty scheme or courier integrations. Touch2Success lists a GloriaFood integration. If that is the till you rent, the hire terms are on the Touch2Success alternative page. Moving a domain GloriaFood hosts is a separate job: move a GloriaFood custom domain. The website and Facebook buttons are in replace the GloriaFood ordering button.

What Chefzi does cover: collection, delivery and pre-orders; delivery zones by area, radius or postcode, each with its own fee, minimum and time; promo codes; your own domain, and that connection is live in the portal; an embed for your existing website; QR table ordering; and the Chefzi app on your phone or tablet that rings until someone answers.

If you also take Just Eat, Uber Eats or Deliveroo orders, you can keep them. Those apps charge their own commission on their own orders; a direct Chefzi order doesn't. Read the UK pricing, or the local notes for London, Birmingham and Manchester.

Save these from your GloriaFood admin before you go

Log in to the GloriaFood admin while your account is active and keep a copy of:

• The menu: categories, items, sizes, extras and prices. The GloriaFood menu converter turns an export into a spreadsheet.
• Your client list and order reports, for your own records. Only contact customers in line with the consent they gave you.
• Settings you'd otherwise forget: opening hours, delivery zones and fees, minimum orders, promotions and taxes.
• Every place your ordering link appears: website buttons, Facebook, Instagram, Google Business Profile and printed QR codes.

What to do before April 2027

1. Export your menu. Save an export or screenshots of your GloriaFood menu, prices and extras.
2. Book a switch call. About 15 minutes to plan your move and answer questions.
3. We rebuild it. Menu, zones and hours set up for you, free.
4. Go live. Update your Google profile, social links and QR codes, then switch GloriaFood off.

GloriaFood switching questions

When does GloriaFood shut down?

Oracle's end-of-life FAQ (version 1.0, March 2026) gives 30 April 2027 as the end-of-life date for all GloriaFood products and services, with no extensions. Paid add-ons can end earlier, at the end of their final renewal term.

What is a good GloriaFood alternative in the UK?

Look for 0% commission, a kitchen app that alerts you clearly, delivery zones, and a menu move included. Chefzi is a UK option with no setup fee and 0% commission: a free introductory period, then £19 a month for cash or no-card payments or £29 a month with Stripe card payments, excluding VAT. Is there a GloriaFood demo?

GloriaFood's homepage links to a demo restaurant ordering page (pronto-ny.com) so you can try ordering as a customer, and its order-taking app has a "Create test order" option for existing accounts. New direct sign-ups have stopped, so a demo is mainly useful for seeing what your customers see today.

Can I see a Chefzi demo?

Yes. Book a call and we'll show you the ordering page and the kitchen app, and talk through moving your menu. There is no online sign-up.

Where is the GloriaFood admin login?

Restaurant owners log in from the "Log in" button on gloriafood.com, and the restaurant admin panel is at restaurantlogin.com/admin. Use the email and password you set up for the restaurant account. Chefzi never needs your GloriaFood password: an export, screenshots or your ordering link is enough to move the menu.

Can I still sign up for GloriaFood?

Not directly. Oracle's FAQ says it is not entering into new direct agreements with restaurants. New restaurants can only be added through GloriaFood partners, and their service still ends on 30 April 2027.

Will the GloriaFood app keep working after April 2027?

No. The order-taking app is part of the GloriaFood service, and Oracle says GloriaFood products and services will not be available after the end-of-life date.

What happens to my GloriaFood data?

Oracle says you can retrieve your data for 30 days after your services expire, end or are cancelled. Export your menu, client list and reports before then.

Will I lose my menu?

No. Send us your GloriaFood menu (an export, screenshots or a link to your ordering page) and we rebuild it in Chefzi at no charge.

How long does switching take?

We start as soon as we have your menu, and you can run Chefzi and GloriaFood side by side until you are happy, so there is no gap in orders. Book the switch well before your last GloriaFood renewal ends.

Is Chefzi free like GloriaFood?

No. GloriaFood's core product is free, with paid add-ons. Chefzi is free for an introductory period, then £19 a month for cash or no-card payments or £29 a month with Stripe card payments, excluding VAT, with no commission and no setup fee. Standard Stripe fees apply to card payments.

Is there a free GloriaFood replacement?
