Oracle’s FAQ: paid services run on 30-day terms
GloriaFood’s core ordering has been free. That is the number people remember, and it is also the number that ends. After 30 April 2027 the ordering buttons, links and the order-taking app that point at GloriaFood stop. A replacement has to be in place before that date, not on it. If you pay for an add-on, the last 30-day period can finish earlier. Write down the renewal date you can see in the admin.
Chefzi is not a free product. The introductory months are free, then the fee is monthly, per location, and it does not take a percentage of the order. Card processing, when you use it, is Stripe’s fee on the £29 plan. The £19 plan is cash and no-card payments, including cash on delivery and cash on collection.
The restaurant pastes its own Stripe API keys in the Chefzi portal. An existing account works, including the one used with GloriaFood. The steps are on move GloriaFood card payments to Stripe.
What you are comparing is the job, not the logo. Both take an order from a website and show it to the kitchen. Chefzi’s order arrives in the Chefzi app on a phone or tablet you already have. There is no separate order-taking POS to buy, and there is no store badge on this site. Table bookings and QR ordering for people already seated are separate. Email and SMS campaigns are sent by the restaurant, to people who have agreed.
What Chefzi does not copy from a wider platform: a till, a kiosk, a customer app for diners to install, a loyalty scheme, or courier integrations. If you depend on those GloriaFood add-ons, say so on the call. The migration checklist is the order of steps. The GloriaFood alternative page is the longer note.
GloriaFood’s core ordering product is free. Dollar prices for website and app add-ons are not shown here. Oracle’s end-of-life FAQ says paid services use 30-day terms. Check gloriafood.com and the Oracle FAQ before you rely on a figure.
Oracle is retiring GloriaFood on 30 April 2027. Paid add-ons can end on an earlier renewal. Check the date in your GloriaFood admin.
