Terms of service

These terms are between you and Chefzi. They cover the Chefzi ordering service, restaurant websites, and the Chefzi Orders app. Booking a demo or using the service means you agree to them.

The service

Chefzi provides commission-free online ordering, a restaurant website, and a kitchen app. We do not take a percentage of your orders.

Food businesses only

Chefzi is for food businesses in the United Kingdom: restaurants, cafés and takeaways. It is not for pubs, bars or casinos, and it is not sold outside the UK.

The offer and the price

Early Black Friday & Cyber Monday Deal: 3 months free, no setup fee. Ends 1 Dec 2026.

Offer ends 23:59 on 1 Dec 2026. From 2 Dec, new sign-ups get 1 month free.

The first three months are free (ends 1 Dec 2026). After that the fee is £19 a month for cash or no-card payments, or £29 a month with online card payments through Stripe, per location, billed month to month. There is no setup fee, and Chefzi charges 0% commission on the order. Standard Stripe card processing fees apply. Stripe card processing fees are set by Stripe. Prices exclude VAT where VAT applies. You can cancel before the free period ends and pay nothing.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time. After the free period the subscription is month to month. Cancel during the free period and you pay nothing. If you cancel after you have paid for a month, you are not charged for the next month. Refunds are set out in the refund policy. We can end an account that stays unpaid after a reminder, or that breaks these terms.

Your content

You keep ownership of your menu, photos, and customer records. You give us permission to host and display them so the service can run. You are responsible for allergen information and for the prices you publish.

Acceptable use

Do not use Chefzi to break the law, to send spam, or to take payment for food you do not intend to prepare. We can suspend an account that puts diners or other restaurants at risk, and we will tell you why unless the law stops us.

Availability

We aim to keep ordering and the tablet app available through a Friday rush. We do not promise uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is rare and, where we can, outside peak hours.

Liability

We are not liable for lost profit from orders you did not receive because a tablet was offline, a network failed, or a payment provider declined a card. Our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in those 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales hear disputes about them.
