Restaurant marketing that brings customers back to your own ordering page
In short: This page is the small set of tools on the ordering site itself: promo codes, a QR code, and one link you can put on Google, Instagram and your own packaging. Longer campaigns live next door.
Early Black Friday & Cyber Monday Deal: new sign-ups get 3 months free, with no setup fee. The deal ends at 23:59 on 1 December 2026.
The two campaign pages
Email marketing is for newsletters and automated offer emails. SMS marketing is for texts, branded SMS and flyers with a QR code to your own ordering page. If the codes and emails you use today are GloriaFood’s, the mapping is in replace GloriaFood promotions and Autopilot emails. Social posts and ads are the Facebook, Instagram and Google campaigns that send people to that same page. A wider set of ideas, with the rules for each, is in restaurant marketing ideas. Use this page when you only need a code or a link. Use those pages when you want to write to people who have opted in.
Promo codes
A code can be a percentage, a fixed amount, free delivery, a free item, or buy one, get one. It can be limited to a first order. You switch it on and off in the dashboard. Turn it off if it starts attracting orders you cannot cook.
A code is not a reason to undercut a marketplace if your contract forbids it. Just Eat’s Your Price Promise covers prices, discounts, offers, delivery charges and minimums on your own site, unless you have agreed otherwise. Read the terms before you publish a direct-only offer. Deliveroo and Uber Eats contracts can have their own rules.
One link, in the places you control
Use the same ordering URL on the website, on Google, on Instagram and on packaging you hand out yourself. Do not put a direct-order code on a Just Eat bag. Bags for phone, walk-in and own-site orders are the ones you control. A step-by-step version of moving regulars is how to move Just Eat customers to your website.
A QR code can sit on the counter, on a table, or on your own flyer. The flyer design itself is part of SMS marketing. The code should open your ordering page, and you should test it on a phone after it is printed.
What this is not
It is not a loyalty scheme and it is not a CRM. It does not promise a number of repeat orders. It gives you a code and a link. Whether a regular uses them depends on the food, the page, and whether you put the link where they already look.
A week you can actually run
Pick one offer and one link for the month. Put the link on Google, the bio, and the counter. Tell the person on the phone the same address. At the end of the week, look at how many orders used the code. If the number is small, the problem is usually the link’s placement, not the size of the discount. Do not add a second code until the first one has been tested on a phone that is not on the shop Wi-Fi.
Pricing
Promo codes and the ordering link are included: £19 a month for cash or no-card payments, or £29 a month with card payments, per location, excluding VAT. No setup fee and 0% commission. See Chefzi pricing.
Questions
Where do email and SMS live?
Email campaigns are on the email marketing page. Texts, branded SMS and flyers are on the SMS marketing page. This page is the promo code and the link.
Can I put a direct-only discount on my own site?
Check the contract first. Just Eat’s Your Price Promise covers prices, discounts, offers, delivery charges and minimums on your own site, unless you have agreed otherwise.
Who sends the messages?
You do. A promo code is a switch in the dashboard. An email or a text is a campaign you choose to send, to people who have agreed.
Can a code be only for a first order?
Yes. A code can be a percentage, an amount, free delivery, a free item, or buy one get one, and it can be limited to a first order.
