A restaurant website with ordering built in

In short: Chefzi builds the restaurant website from your menu, logo and photos. Every page can take an order. You edit the words and pictures yourself. The site is meant to load quickly on a phone.

Early Black Friday & Cyber Monday Deal: new sign-ups get 3 months free, with no setup fee. The deal ends at 23:59 on 1 December 2026.

What the page is for

A hungry person on a phone wants the menu, the hours, and a way to finish the order. The generated site leads with those. Categories follow the menu you already use. Prices are the ones you are willing to honour. Sizes and sides that change the price are choices on the item, not a note the kitchen has to decode.

When a dish is finished, mark it sold out. The page should refuse that item rather than take the money and refund it later. Allergen wording is yours to write. The software does not invent a statement for a dish you have not described.

Distance selling has a separate rule: the 14 regulated allergens have to be available before the order is completed. That checklist is in allergen information for online orders.

How it is put together

  1. We start from the menu. Dishes, extras, hours and the photos you send.
  2. You edit it. Swap an image, rewrite a section, or reorder the blocks without a developer.
  3. The order button stays. Each page leads to the menu and checkout.
  4. Your address. Custom domain connection is live in the portal. Add your own domain and the DNS records shown there. A yourname.chefzi.co.uk address is also available. An embed puts the same menu on a site you already have.

Built for a phone, and readable by search

The layout is phone-first. The menu is text, not a PDF, so it can be read on a small screen and by a search engine. Headings are ordinary headings. That is built to help the page be understood. It is not a promise of a map position or a number of visits.

On-site search is a different job from the Google Business Profile. The restaurant website SEO guide is the how-to for the page itself. Google ranking help is the done-for-you work on the listing. What a site like this tends to cost, next to other routes, is in what a restaurant website costs.

Ordering on the same site

Collection, delivery and pre-orders use this website. Guests who are already seated can use QR table ordering. Guests who want a table before they arrive use table reservations. Published prices for other booking products are in best restaurant booking systems in the UK. Orders reach the Chefzi app on the phone or tablet you already have.

What you can skip

You do not need a long story above the menu, a video header, or a stock photo of a city you are not in. You do need the menu, the hours, the phone number, the address, and a checkout that states the fee before anyone pays. Delivery fees and minimums are set by you, per zone.

Pricing

The website is included: £19 a month for cash or no-card payments, or £29 a month with online card payments through Stripe, per location, excluding VAT. No setup fee and 0% commission. Card processing stays with Stripe. See Chefzi pricing.

Questions

Do I need a developer to change the site?

No. You can change photos, text, opening hours and the order of the sections yourself.

Can the site use my own domain?

Yes. Custom domain connection is live in the portal. Add the domain and the DNS records shown there.

Is the menu a PDF?

No. Dishes and prices are text on the page, so a phone and a search engine can read them.

Will the website rank first on Google?

No. The site is built to be fast on a phone and readable by search. A position is not guaranteed. For the listing on Google Maps, see Google ranking help.

Can I keep a website I already have?

Yes. You can embed the menu, or point your domain at the Chefzi site.
