Touch2Success alternative: do you need a new EPOS, or just better online orders?

People search for a Touch2Success alternative for two quite different reasons. Some want a different till. Others want to stop hiring a till just to take online orders. The right answer depends on which one is you, so this page starts there. Facts about Touch2Success come from its own pages and terms, checked on 20 October 2026. Chefzi isn't affiliated with Touch2Success.

What Touch2Success sells

Touch2Success describes itself as "your one true restaurant partner". Its products page groups everything into three areas.

AreaWhat's listed on touch2success.com
Front of house hardwareEPOS terminal, self-service kiosk, APOS (handheld POS), digital menu board, PDQ payment terminal, cash drawer, receipt printer, caller ID modem
Back of house softwareKitchen display system, inventory management, reservation system, third-party integrations
Guest-facing toolsOnline ordering system (branded website), mobile app for iOS and Android, QR ordering, marketing tools

The headline EPOS is a 15.6-inch Android 13 terminal (model L15B1, SUNMI OS) with an optional 10.1-inch customer-facing screen. The devices run Touch2Success's "Fusion" software. The POS features page also lists table reservations (including bookings from your website), an SMS scheduler, coupons, a customer database and pre-orders.

Integrations. Touch2Success lists POS integrations (Square, Clover, Lightspeed, Oracle Micros and Simphony, Epos Now, Toast) and online-ordering partners including Uber Eats, DoorDash, Grubhub, Flipdish and Gloria Food. That last one matters if you're on GloriaFood (see below).

Pricing. Every product page has a "Request a quote" or "Get quote" button. We found no published prices for hardware, software or online ordering, so check their current pricing and get it in writing. The online-ordering page claims "delivery fees up to 18.25% lower than other platforms" but doesn't say which platforms or fees it is comparing.

Who runs it. The terms on touch2success.com are the same document as Foodhub's, issued by Food Hub Limited (company number 10619783) and dated 27 March 2026, with the same Stoke-on-Trent address. If you're on the Foodhub marketplace or a Foodhub-branded website, our Foodhub alternative page covers the Datman card fees, the 50p marketplace fee and the service charge.

The hire terms to read before you switch

Touch2Success equipment is hired, not bought, under the terms. These are the clauses we'd check first:

  1. Hire, not ownership (3.1). The company hires the equipment to you for use at your premises. When the contract ends it can take the equipment back (14.7.1).
  2. Initial period, then 12 months (5.1). Eight weeks from the date your website goes live, then a rolling 12-month term.
  3. How to leave (14.2, 14.3). At least 30 days' written notice expiring on the last day of the 12-month period, the equipment returned (or collection paid for) and any balance cleared by that date. If you miss one, the notice is void and the contract continues.
  4. Weekly rental (1.1.17, 7.1). Collected weekly in arrears by Direct Debit, at the amount on your Agreement Form, "inclusive of VAT".
  5. Setup fee (6.11, 6.12, 14.9). Payable at the start. The terms describe a refund only if you end the contract in the initial period, and say sums owed can be recovered from it.
  6. Broadband (3.4). The system needs a broadband connection of at least 4MB download.
  7. Domain names (11.4). Intellectual property arising in the system, "including any domain names", belongs to the company.

None of this is unusual for hired EPOS kit, but it does mean the timing of your switch matters more than the choice of replacement. Find your Agreement Form, work out your 12-month renewal date and diary the notice deadline before anything else.

Which kind of switch are you making?

Option 1: you want a different till

If you need a counter EPOS, a kitchen screen and caller ID, you're comparing Touch2Success with other EPOS suppliers, and Chefzi isn't one of them. Ask every supplier the same questions: buy or hire? What's the term? What happens to the hardware at the end? Which card processor? What does each integration cost? Can you get your customer list and order history out in a spreadsheet?

Option 2: you mostly need online orders

Many takeaways took an EPOS bundle because it came with the ordering website. If your counter trade is simple (cash, a card machine and a pad), hiring a till to take online orders may be more than you need. This is where Chefzi fits:

  • An ordering website for collection and delivery, mobile-optimised and SEO-friendly, on your own domain. Or add ordering to your current website with a snippet.
  • Orders on a phone or tablet you already own, in the Chefzi order-taking app. It rings until someone accepts or rejects, and if the device drops offline Chefzi sends an SMS and then calls. There's no expensive equipment to buy and no POS needed.
  • QR table ordering for eat-in tables and table reservations for bookings.
  • Email, SMS and branded SMS campaigns you run yourself, plus flyer marketing.
  • If the system you are leaving is Preoday, it now trades as QikServe. See the Preoday alternative.
  • If the system you are leaving is Orderbee’s dine-in order and pay, that product now sits with QikServe at The Access Group. See the Orderbee alternative.
  • Managed help if you want it: ranking higher on Google in your local area, social media post design, and paid ads on Facebook, Instagram and Google.
  • Card payments through Stripe on the £29 plan, into your own Stripe account, at Stripe's published rates.

Option 3: keep the till, change the online ordering

You can keep a till you like and move the online side to Chefzi. Be clear on the trade-off: Chefzi doesn't connect to any EPOS, so online orders arrive in the Chefzi app rather than on the till screen. Some kitchens are happy with a separate tablet for online orders; others want everything on one screen. Decide which you are before you switch.

If your Touch2Success system takes GloriaFood orders

Touch2Success lists GloriaFood among its online-ordering integrations. Oracle has confirmed that all GloriaFood products and services end on 30 April 2027. Its FAQ gives the Oracle Simphony till integration as an example that "will no longer function" after that date, and the same applies to any system that relies on GloriaFood to send it orders. If GloriaFood orders currently flow into your Touch2Success till, they'll stop then, whatever you decide about the till. See our GloriaFood alternative page for the dates and the switch plan.

Choose Touch2Success if…

  • You want one supplier for hardware, kiosk, card terminal and online ordering, with 24/7 support (which Touch2Success advertises).
  • You need integrations that bring marketplace and other orders onto one till.
  • You're comfortable with hire terms and a 12-month rolling contract.

Choose Chefzi if…

  • Your main need is commission-free online ordering, not a till.
  • You want to use a phone or tablet you already have rather than hire equipment.
  • You want published prices and month-to-month terms: £19 a month (cash or no-card) or £29 with Stripe card payments, per location, excluding VAT, after the free period.
  • You want your ordering site on a domain you control.

Chefzi's limits are listed plainly on Chefzi facts: no POS, no kiosk, no customer app, no loyalty and no courier integrations.

A switch plan that doesn't leave you without orders

  1. Week 0: find your Agreement Form and renewal date; diary the 30-day notice deadline.
  2. Weeks 1–2: book a call with us, send your menu, set zones and hours, and install the order-taking app. Test orders on mobile data, not the shop Wi-Fi.
  3. Week 3: run both side by side. Start pointing new customers at the new ordering link.
  4. Before the notice deadline: give written notice as the terms require, and arrange the equipment return.
  5. Switch day: update your Google Business Profile ordering link, Facebook button, Instagram bio and QR codes. Keep a phone-order sheet behind the counter for the first weekend.

Frequently asked questions

What is Touch2Success?

Touch2Success is a Stoke-on-Trent restaurant technology brand selling EPOS terminals, self-service kiosks, handheld POS, kitchen display screens, payment terminals, online ordering websites and apps, QR ordering and integrations. Its business terms are issued by Food Hub Limited, the company behind Foodhub.

How much does Touch2Success cost?

Touch2Success does not publish prices on its website. Its pages ask you to request a quote. Its business terms describe weekly rental payments and a setup fee stated on your agreement form, so check their current pricing in writing.

Is Touch2Success the same company as Foodhub?

The terms on touch2success.com and foodhubforbusiness.com are the same document, dated 27 March 2026 and issued by Food Hub Limited (company number 10619783), and both sites give the same Stoke-on-Trent address. Foodhub's own timeline describes Touch2Success acquisitions and milestones alongside Foodhub's.

Can I leave Touch2Success at any time?

Its terms describe an eight-week initial period, then a rolling 12-month term. To end it after the initial period you give at least 30 days' written notice expiring at the end of the 12-month period, return the equipment and clear any balance. Your agreement form may differ, so check it.

Can Chefzi replace my Touch2Success till?

No. Chefzi is not an EPOS and does not connect to tills. It replaces the online side: an ordering website on your own domain, QR table ordering, table reservations and an order-taking app on a phone or tablet you already own.

My Touch2Success system takes GloriaFood orders. What happens in 2027?

Touch2Success lists GloriaFood as an integration partner. Oracle ends all GloriaFood products and services on 30 April 2027, so any GloriaFood orders reaching your till will stop then. Plan your replacement ordering system well before that date.
